
For 9 months of the current year the average cost of social accommodation in the secondary Kiev market has decreased on 5 %, having averaged 1744 USD. for sq. m.
Reduction of prices at level of 3-5 % is characteristic practically for all regions of Ukraine. On 2-4 % accommodation cost in Lvov, on 3-5 % in Dnepropetrovsk and on 2-4 % in Kharkov has decreased. The square meter of social accommodation in Lvov now costs 1141 USD. In Dnepropetrovsk in sq. m. in apartment of similar quality will manage to the buyer in 794 USD., and in Odessa – 1129 USD.
Without having possibility to buy own accommodation, Ukrainians are guided by rent that leads to rent rise in prices.
In Ukraine capital Kiev for 9 months the rent of 1-room apartment has grown in the price for 6 %. In regions of Ukraine dynamics of growth is more essential. In particular, in Dnepropetrovsk the rent of «1 room» become more expensive on 11 %, in Kharkov – on 12 %, and in Lvov – on 13 %.
Most essentially rent of 2-room apartments has raised in Kharkov – on 10 % and in Lvov – on 19 %.
According , the head of the supervisory board of Realtor chamber of Ukraine, before crisis people had possibility to buy apartments for loan. «They went to bank, took the credit and pressed on the purchase and sale market. Now to buy an apartment can afford only few ones. Non-realized demand presses on the rent market that leads to the rise in prices», - he speaks.
And though separate banks are again ready to give to Ukrainians the mortgage loans, high interest rates remain "very heavy" for more parts of Ukrainians that also leads to the rent growth.
